At Storya, your privacy matters as much as the meal in front of you. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our restaurant, message us on Facebook, or browse this website, and how we look after it.
Who we are
Storya Kitchen is a Filipino restaurant operating at 2F Kalayaan Centerpointe Bldg., Kalayaan Ave, cor. V. Luna Ave, Diliman, Quezon City 1101, Philippines. References to "Storya," "we," "our," or "us" in this policy mean Storya Kitchen.

What we collect
- Booking and event inquiries. When you message us on Facebook Messenger or email us, we receive your name, contact details, and any preferences you share (party size, dietary notes, occasion).
- Newsletter subscriptions. When you subscribe through the form on this website, we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number so we can send you promotions, new dish announcements, and stories from the kitchen. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.
- In-restaurant interactions. When you dine with us we may collect a name and contact number to confirm your reservation or follow up about feedback.
- Website use. When you visit storyakitchen, our hosting provider may automatically log standard data such as IP address, device type, browser, referring URL, and pages viewed. We use this to keep the site working and to spot abuse.
- Cookies and similar. See our Cookie Policy for the small data files we and our service providers use in your browser.
How we use your information
- To respond to your booking, event, or general inquiry.
- To confirm and manage your reservation.
- To improve our food, service, and the online experience.
- To comply with legal and tax obligations under Philippine law, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
- To send you occasional updates about Storya only where you have explicitly opted in, and you can opt out anytime.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted parties who help us run Storya — for example, the platform that hosts our website, our email and messaging tools, and our accountants — and only as needed to provide the service.
Our newsletter is delivered through Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which stores subscriber information on servers in the United States. By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to the transfer of your subscription details to Mailchimp for the sole purpose of sending you our emails. Mailchimp's own privacy practices are available at intuit.com/privacy/statement.
We may disclose information when required by law, by a valid government request, or to protect our rights and the safety of our team and guests.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, or as required by Philippine law. Reservation messages are typically retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required for accounting, legal, or service reasons.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, to erase or block, to data portability, to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission, and to be indemnified for damages caused by inaccurate or unlawful processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email admin@storyakitchen.ph. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to limit access to personal information to staff and providers who need it.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
